Introduction

In the middle of Meiji era, kamaboko (fish cake) producers in Odawara met together and formed a group, which is said to be the origin of our Association. The association was officially established as “The Odawara Kamaboko Fish Processors Co-Operative Association” on December 10th, 1966, and has been contributing to the development of the Odawara kamaboko industry through various activities.

Major Activities

  1. Participating in various events
  2. Holding skill improvement seminars for members
  3. Holding Length of Service Award Ceremonies for member employees
  4. Organizing the Odawara Kamaboko Sakura Festival
As of now, the association consists of fourteen producers. Its operating costs are covered by membership fees and commission revenue from each member which is calculated based on the fish purchase amount.

The Odawara Kamaboko Fish Processors Co-Operative Association has registered the four trademarks below. Our members’ products are exclusively branded with these trademarks and we take absolute pride in the fine quality of our products.
