Odawara Kamaboko Sakura Matsuri
To coincide with the cherry blossom season (approx. late March to early April), we hold the Odawara Kamaboko Sakura Matsuri (Odawara Kamaboko Sakura Festival) in Odawara Joshi Koen (Odawara Castle Park) annually. Fun events include a kamaboko wood plank stacking contest called One Night Castle Battle and a Kikikama Tournament where kamaboko from various Odawara kamaboko producers is tasted and compared.
